The process flow of particle board

Particle board is a kind of artificial board made of small diameter wood, branch, wood processing residue, crop straw, etc., made by shaving, drying, sorting, gluing, paving, hot pressing forming, etc. It can be applied to the interior decoration of furniture, packaging, vehicles and ships. It can be made to facing particle board by sanding and secondary veneering. Following a brief description of the process flow for each stage:
 
1)Preparation stage
The wooden materials such as small diameter wood, branch and wood processing residues are shaved. The wood chips are sent to the pulverizer by a conveyor to prepare the shavings.
 
2)Dry sorting stage
The wet shavings are sent to the drying stove through the transporter for drying. The dried shavings pass through the all closed type rotary screen. Excessive shavings are broken up by a pulverizer and then enter the rotary screen for sorting.
 
3)Glue adjustment stage
The qualified shavings are evenly transported to the glue mixer. At the same time, the glue system is used to drip the required glue by the process into the glue mixer. The core shavings, surface shavings and glue are respectively stir well in the glue mixer to achieve the effect of even mixing and sufficient gluing.
 
4)Paving hot pressing forming stage
The glued shavings is conveyed to the paving machine. The paving machine will make the flat continuous slab with the gradual structure. The slab is made to be certain strength, length and width specifications by the multi layers hot press.
 
5)Cutting process stage
After cooling, the burrs board is cut by the vertical horizontal sawing machine into 4’ * 8’ particle board.
