Shavings Dryer

The drum hot air drying system consists of a wood powder combustion chamber, a drum, a pipe duct, a separator, a fan, and an upper and lower bin. It is a product specially designed for drying wood chips, sawdust, and sawdust. It saves up to 30- 50%, can maximize energy saving and drying cost. It is mainly suitable for the drying of large particles and large specific gravity materials in industries such as wood chips, sawdust, wine dregs, rice husks, ore powder, coal slime, and coal powder.

Working principle:
The high-temperature hot air enters the central cylinder together with the wet material, then rotates, flows along the middle annular channel, folds back again, and passes through the outer annular channel to the outlet of the drying cylinder. The materials in each channel are transported under high-temperature air pressure and dried in a suspended state. There are blades in the channels to carry scattered materials. The tiny scraps pass through the dryer almost at the same speed as the air flow. The wet and heavier materials in the middle and outer annular channels fall from the material flow, but due to the rotation of the drying cylinder, they are brought up again by the blades and return to the airflow, continuously surrounded by the drying medium. Under the action of this movement, the smaller scraps can be dried quickly and discharged from the drying cylinder faster. The wetter bulk material stays in the drying cylinder for a longer time. This can make the drying of the material more uniform. When the hot air flows with the material, intense heat and mass exchange will occur. At the outlet of the drying cylinder, the temperature of the drying medium drops to 80-120°C.
